I am the adventuress who seeks
Artist, writer, and perpetual wanderer — I make things that carry the feeling of a place long after you've left it.
Where it all began
I grew up with sand between my toes and a sketchbook in my bag. The two were never separate — drawing was how I remembered things, how I slowed down long enough to really see a place.
Years of travel across coastlines, jungles, and mountain markets taught me that beauty is rarely in the obvious places. It lives in the way afternoon light hits a crumbling wall, in the color of a fishing boat at low tide, in the particular green of a jungle after rain.
My work is an attempt to hold onto those moments — to make something you can hang on your wall and feel, even if you've never been there.
How I work
A way of seeing
Place as muse
Every piece begins with a real location — a specific light, a particular hour. I don't invent landscapes; I translate them.
Slow looking
I sit with a place before I paint it. The best work comes from patience — from watching how a scene changes over an hour, a tide, a cloud.
Medium as memory
Watercolor bleeds and blooms in ways I can't fully control. That unpredictability is the point — it mirrors how memory actually works.
